FINANCE
The Finance Department provides accounting services to all county departments and manages the finances of Emmet County. The department’s responsibilities include budgeting; paying invoices; billing customers; tracking assets and expenditures; approving and processing purchase orders; ensuring staff are following internal controls and the county’s procurement policy; presenting budget and other financial information to the Board of Commissioners; and many other responsibilities to maintain accurate, transparent, and up-to-date information about the county’s fiscal situation.

Location: The Finance office is located in the Emmet County Building on the ground floor in suite G74. All visitors must enter at the Lake Street entrance and go through health and security procedures currently in place. Except for specific holidays, office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
