Communications

The Communications Department handles most of the promotional efforts of the county. This includes marketing, advertising, graphic design, brochure design and development, writing press releases and handling advertisement design for other county departments, such as the county fair, Pellston Regional Airport and the Parks and Recreation Department.

Additionally, this department shares in efforts to update the county website, the various county parks’ websites and those for EMS, Pellston Regional Airport and the Emmet-Charlevoix County Fair including news, photos, press releases and other events.

The Communications Department also oversees all of the county’s social media and contributes much of the content to Facebook pages for Emmet County, Headlands International Dark Sky Park, McGulpin Point Lighthouse, Camp Petosega, Emmet County Fairgrounds, Emmet County EMS and Emmet-Charlevoix County Fair. The Communications Department is responsible for the county’s Twitter account and Instagram account. Follow our social media accounts for current news, photos, and more!
