Hankins Sentencing

Emmet County Prosecuting Attorney James R. Linderman announced that on Friday, August 17, 2018, Defendant Clare Wayne Hankins was sentenced in the 57th Circuit Court in Emmet County on the one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct-First Degree and one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct-Second Degree stemming from his guilty pleas on July 10, 2018.

Circuit Court Judge Charles W. Johnson sentenced Defendant Hankins to 25 years minimum with a maximum of 40 years with the Michigan Department of Corrections for the Criminal Sexual Conduct-First Degree charge and 120 months minimum with a maximum of 15 years with the Michigan Department of Corrections for the Criminal Sexual Conduct-Second Degree charge.
