Emmet County Undersheriff Retires

June 5, 2018 – On Monday, June 4, 2018 Tim Roth retired from his position of Emmet County Undersheriff in the Sheriff’s Department.

Tim began his career with the Emmet County Sheriff’s Department in 1984 as a Deputy for the Road Patrol, made Detective Sergeant in 1994, and became the Lieutenant for Road Patrol in 1999. He rose to the rank of Undersheriff in 2002.

Emmet County Sheriff Pete Wallin in a statement offered, “On behalf of Emmet County I would like to thank Tim for his years of service and commitment to the Sheriff’s Department. I wish him well in his future endeavors”.
