History of the Universe: From the Big Bang to Recent History

Join us and NOMAC as we will trace the history of the universe from the big bang through the formation of the first atoms, to stars and the first galaxies.  Then on to our galaxy, the Milky Way, the formation of our solar system and finally the earth.  We will then discuss how the earth developed and how life began and evolved up to the present.  Finally, where is the universe headed?

James Webb Space Telescope Mission Update

James Webb Space Telescope has been fully operational for about a year now.  Launched on Christmas Day, 2021, it is the first of the next generation of space telescopes.  This presentation by NOMAC will explore the technology of this new instrument and the significant discoveries it has made to date.
