Advisory Committee on Aging
The Advisory Committee on Aging will meet on Wednesday, June 22, 202t 10:00 a.m. in the Board of Commissioners’ Room, 200 Division Street, Petoskey, Michigan.
Did you know the disk of our galaxies is warped? Have you ever wondered what the night sky will look like in the distant future? In this presentation, Rod Cortright, NASA/JPL Ambassador, will summarize discoveries made by the Gaia space observatory.
This space observatory has been on station for nine years now. Its mission is to create a three-dimensional star map of the Milky Way galaxy to answer questions about our galaxy’s composition, formation, and evolution. The Emmet County Land Bank Authority will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the commissioners’ board room, across from the treasurer’s office, on the first floor of the County Building in downtown Petoskey, 200 Division Street.
