The State Court Administrative Office notified the 90th District Sobriety Court that it meets the certification requirements to maintain a treatment court in Emmet County. This is the first year the year-long certification process was required for Specialty Courts in Michigan.
In addition, certification allows the Court to continue its applications for grant funding to assist 90th District Sobriety Court participants in Emmet County.
The 90th District Court has operated a Specialty Sobriety Court since 2007. Specialty Courts work! The 90th District Sobriety Court Team is proud of the commitment of Judge Erhart, staff, volunteer team members and participants involved. They have all contributed to our success.
Honorable James N. Erhart said, “I am very pleased at our receiving certification from the State of Michigan. Our Sobriety Court Team is one of the best in the State. This shows the hard work and dedication of our Sobriety Court Team.”
