Deadline March 10 – The County of Emmet is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or entities to provide services as an Independent Contractor for the position of Communications Director for the County of Emmet. All interested parties must respond to the requirements outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
The County of Emmet has previously had a Communications Director on staff as an employee of the county. A different approach is being sought by filling the position with an Independent Contractor. A recently modified Job Description details the basic responsibilities sought from the successful bidder.
The Independent Contractor Agreement will be entered into as soon as possible after March 10, 2017.
Proposals should be submitted to Human Resources Office in a sealed envelope marked “Communications Director Position” no later than Friday, March 10, 2017 by 3:00 p.m. at which time proposals will be publically opened and read.
