Pursuant to Section 9 of Ordinance # 12-02, commonly referred to as the Minimum Standards & Operating Procedures of the Pellston Regional Airport, the public is hereby notified of a proposed amendment to Section 5-20 Public Parking of Ordinance # 12-02 which will be heard before the Emmet County Board of Commissioners at its Special Meeting set for Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners Room in the Emmet County Building, 200 Division Street, Petoskey, Michigan. Notice of Intent to file a PFC Application
(January 19, 2019) — The Pellston Regional Airport, a department of the County of Emmet, is planning to file an application with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to impose and use a Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) to fund capital improvement projects. This notice is being issued to meet PFC application filing requirements set forth in 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) § 158.24. The proposed charge is $4.50 per enplaned passenger effective May 1, 2019 and estimated to expire on August 31, 2021.
