Historical tour map, cell phone tour tell county’s history

Two media pieces will take participants on both a road trip and a cellphone tour of Emmet County’s historical sites.

The Emmet County Historical Tour Map features 37 stops, from Petoskey to Cross Village, Mackinaw City to Alanson, and points in between. The OnCell stops can be found at McGulpin Point Lighthouse; the Headlands, an International Dark Sky Park; Cecil Bay, Pellston Regional Airport; Mackinaw’s Heritage Village; and throughout the historic downtown area of Mackinaw City.
