Imagine wins national award!
Emmet County's annual promotional magazine, Imagine, has won a national award from the Inland Press Association.
The 2011 magazine won third place in the "Standalone Publications" category. The magazine was entered into the contest by the Petoskey News-Review, whose staff sells the advertising and handles layout and printing of the publication. Emmet County Communications Director Beth Anne Piehl handles content planning, writing and editing of the publication, while News-Review photographer G. Randall Goss handles all the photography.
In all, 41 newspapers from around the U.S. submitted 287 entries in the News-Review's circulation class (papers under 10,000 circulation) for award consideration.
