2012 Dark Sky Park programs

The Headlands International Dark Sky Park in Mackinaw City

Free monthly programs are held at the Headlands, on a range of topics from the Northern Lights to the once-in-a-lifetime Venus Transit of the sun.

Program topics, dates and times for the coming year have been determined and can be found by clicking here.

For more information about the Dark Sky Park, click here. For information about the Headlands in general, the houses available for rent and location details, click here. Throughout the winter, nearly 5 miles of trails are groomed throughout the 600 acres for snowshoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing and other nonmotorized uses.
