On March 22, 2016, Defendant Nicolas Troy Bratcher pled guilty to one count each of Breaking & Entering a Building with Intent and Receiving & Concealing a Firearm arising from an incident in February 2016. In exchange for the guilty plea, one count of Home Invasion-First degree, four counts of Felony Firearm, one count each of Larceny of a Firearm, Firearm Possession by a Felon, and Ammunition-Possession by Felon were dismissed. Defendant Bratcher is scheduled to be sentenced on April 26, 2016 at 9:00 am in the 57th Circuit Court in Emmet County.
The case was investigated by the Petoskey Department of Public Safety.
